wow, st. patrick’s day was quite an experience, to say the least. tennis pro brought the party up to eleven or more, and we managed to drive our way through a keg and a half plus innumerable bottles of beer, cider, and whiskey. by all accounts everyone had a good time, so i call it a success.

hopefully some pictures will be forthcoming from those who were camera-equipped?

the real reason i’ve been awake all weekend: if i close my eyes for even a minute david bowie is going to eat me.

jeremiah at the duck island is officially the best bartender in all of seattle. not only has he given me the directions to build my own jockey box, for st. patrick’s day he is even loaning me his guinness tap and european style sankey adapter. so awesome.

plus he remembers me when i shows up and always seems to know the beer that i’m looking for that day. truly a king among bartenders, and the kind of guy (and bar!) that i’m happy to come back to support time and time again.
