i stop to think at a wishing well

it’s wednesday, and i am still completely exhausted from my weekend.

it wasn’t all that strenuous really, but it had it’s fair share of early mornings, late nights, choices both good and ill-advised – and somehow a three-day weekend became less restful than a normal week, and i’m feeling it.

with the passing of labor day it seems much more obvious that summer has started it’s inevitable decline. the light is gone noticeably earlier now, leaving me to ponder the coming day when i will spend all of my daylight hours here in the office, and i’d like to take advantage of the nice weather while it lasts. hence, i am off to play some ultimate frisbee for the first time since i hurt my knee back in june. i am expecting to be slow and unskilled. at best.

we don’t need any more fables

i had a productive evening even without leaving the house. andrew and i put together the workbench downstairs and i have completely cleaned up the basement area now, it looks downright respectable as far as a working area goes. it’s important to me to organize myself, and make sure i put everything in its proper place.
