katharine has done a fantastic thing and posted some of her finest photos here. i’ve gone ahead and mirrored them as well.

i’ll be linking them into my journal entries as well so you can get some more good shots, katharine definitely took alot more photos than me and has some really brilliant ones. she also has some swell photos featuring yours truly. yeah, i didn’t shave in greece.

also on the meta front i’ve modified the greece category to display only one entry per page and in chronological order. hopefully this will make it easier to read and make sense of.

update: i’ve started adding greece journal entries to the days i was gone. so see them in the greece category.

so i’m still working on culling my pictures and waiting for martin and katherine to send me the contents of their memory cards. we have roughly a gigabyte and a half between us of photos and video, so there will be plenty to see.

that’s the village of fira on the island of santorini. simply amazing. i had not expected a place like that could exist in the world.

i have on many occasions announced that i am not, in fact, a type of person who is cut out to be a blogger.

this is for many reasons, mostly because i think i am at best only slightly interesting in person, with beer. the further from that experience (email, instant message, phone, sobriety) one gets, the less interesting i become.

still, occasionally i want to rant about things or variously publish stuff on the internet, and since wordpress was just an apt-get away (literally, this blog was installed about 75 seconds ago), i figured i may as well give it a shot.

it remains to be seen whether this will actually get used or not.
